Broadway Nurse: A Musical Reading

"Broadway Nurse" is a heartwarming new musical that follows Nurse Ruby to Broadway, featuring The Soul Train & other Rochester vocalists.

"Sing Until Your Dreams Come True" on Friday, June 23rd, and Saturday, June 24th, in downtown Rochester, MN, as we present the world premiere of Broadway Nurse. This heartwarming musical follows a music-loving nurse who seizes the opportunity to chase her dreams on Broadway.

Doors open at 6:30pm and the show begins at 7pm each night. The show runtime is 90 minutes, plus a 10-minute intermission with beverages & refreshments for sale by Absolute Theatre.

The performance showcases Rochester-area musicians, including the dynamic trio of The Soul Train (LaSonya Natividad, Danielle C. Torkelson, and Quiashialyn Poindexter), along with other talented local artists.

Broadway Nurse, penned by Rochester-area native Sam Buchl, pays tribute to his mother, a dedicated nurse in Rochester—with musical production by Michelle Partogi.
