SEMYO invites you to their 8th annual It’s Instrumental: An Evening of Chamber Music event on Friday, October 27 from 6-8:30 pm at the Historic Chateau Theatre in downtown Rochester.

It’s Instrumental is a creative black tie event that will feature dinner, drinks, music performed by talented SEMYO musicians and their teachers, and our popular dessert auction. The highlight of the evening will be the presentation of the Bravura Award for Excellence to John Adams Middle School orchestra director Dr. Sarah Rusin. Enjoy great music, fun company, and celebrate music education in a beautiful, historic setting!

Every year, funds raised at It’s Instrumental provide thousands of dollars of aid for students to participate in our program and take music lessons. Donations also contribute to our outreach program at Riverside Central Elementary School (that provides free violin lessons for low-income and minority elementary school students) and tours that bring SEMYO musicians directly to schools and senior centers throughout SE Minnesota.
