Lunchtime Stretch and Flow
Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12:15 - 12:45 pm
Teacher: Allison Roe
Join Allison for a 30 minute break in your day as we move and breathe through some simple yet effective stretches. Give your body a much needed break, no matter if you've been sitting at a desk all morning or going from appointment to appointment. No prior experience needed, all abilities welcome! Somatic Slow Flow Yoga
Mondays 12 - 1 pm
Teacher: Rick Fulton
In this class, we'll explore the profound connection between mind and body through gentle, mindful movement. Learn how stress and tension can cause muscles to become "stuck" and "forgotten," leading to discomfort and reduced mobility. Through specific movements called pandiculations, inspired by Thomas Hanna's clinical somatics, we'll retrain the nervous system to release tension and rediscover efficient movement patterns. By combining slow, intentional movements with conscious breathing, you'll cultivate a deeper awareness of your body and mind, promoting relaxation and ease.
These classes are for all levels and are great for beginners!
