Weddings at the Chateau
The Historic Chateau Theatre is an iconic venue for special events in the heart of downtown Rochester. We host a limited number of weddings and other private celebrations, and invite you to consider the Chateau for a memorable experience in a historic place.

Holidays include Memorial Day Sunday/Monday, July 3 and 4, Labor Day Sunday/Monday, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year's Day.
What’s Included?
Capacity is 490 for standing events, 300 for theater seating, and 250 for banquet seating.
Rental includes tables and chairs for up to 250 guests, basic use of house sound system, microphone, and lighting, stage, and a dedicated event liaison.
Personalized marquee, wedding party access to mezzanine green room, Parlour lounge.
A/V support for live music or other performance events requires third-party production staff.
All food and beverage providers must be licensed with the City of Rochester/Olmsted County, and complete a one-time Chateau catering certification program at least 30 days prior to your event.

A nonrefundable 30% booking deposit (which will be applied to your rental fee) is required with rental agreement to guarantee date. Remaining balance is due 30 days prior to event.
